• from 1993-1996 music high school in Maribor
• from 1997-2001 classical saxophone on University for music and fine arts in Vienna, Austria with Oto Vrhovnik
• from 2001-2002 jazz saxophone on UNIVERSITY OF MUSIC AND FINE ARTS in Vienna with Martin Fuss and on Queen's Conservatory in Den Haag with John Ruocco
• from 2002-2003 (based on scholarship)BERKLEE COLLEGE OF MUSIC (performance major), Boston, USA , studies with: Joe Lovano, George Garzone, Dave Samuels, Dave Santoro, Greg Hopkins, Lello Molinari and Ed Tomassi
• from 2004-2006 - MASTERS OF ARTS on University for music in Graz, Austria with Karlheinz Miklin and Don Menza
